Heartbroken by her husband’s betrayal, rejection, and desertion, Elizabeth learned to rely on her unfailing heavenly Bridegroom. Resting in Him, she was able to forgive. By His grace, she was able to remain true to her vow of lifelong fidelity to her husband.
